Capture the relevant context
Include the message and enough surrounding interface to identify what you were trying to do. Note the platform and the point at which the issue appears.
Remove unrelated sensitive details
Before sharing, check for passwords, authentication codes, personal contact information, payment records, and customer data that the support conversation does not need.
Add a short explanation
Describe the intended action, the observed result, and what you have already tried. A screenshot and a concise explanation are more useful together than either on its own.
Turn the brief into a useful next step
Bring these notes into the conversation with your team or ADFBM. Keep the selected configuration, the responsible contact, and any open question together. Before an order or change is confirmed, make sure the people doing the work share the same written understanding.
Use the checklist below as a starting point, then adapt it to the business and assets you are authorized to manage. Product details and platform requirements should always be confirmed for the specific setup involved.
